CIPS Designation 
A Certified International Property Specialist is an individual who has proven their expertise in International Real Estate practice by completing CIPS program requirements administered by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The program focuses specifically on international real estate. Of the 1,300,000 REALTOR members of NAR, less than 2,000 members have been awarded the CIPS designation. These REALTORS have expertise in dealing with clients from diverse cultures and their names are placed with real estate associations all over the globe. Approximately 25% of the CIPS members live outside of the United States.
CRB Designation 
The Council of Real Estate Brokerage managers is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The council is made up of 7,000 broker members nationwide who have completed the council's advanced educational and professional requirements. The CRB designation is recognized industry-wide as the symbol of excellence in real estate brokerage management and signifies a leader in the industry dedicated to the highest of professional standards.
CRS Designation 
The Council of Residential Specialists is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The council is made up of 40,000 Certified Residential Specialists Realtor members who have completed the council's advanced educational and professional requirements. The CRS designation is recognized throughout the real estate industry as having a Realtor who embraces continuing educational and performance standards which sets them apart from an agent who just lists and sells real estate. Most relocation companies seek to do business with REALTORS® having the CRS designation.
GRI Designation 
This designation is awarded by the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR) to its REALTOR® members who have successfuly completed rigorous study requirements of the State Association as developed and agreed upon in coordination with the National Association of REALTORS®. Only Realtor members of CAR who have been awarded the GRI are granted the right to use this professional designation.
